Hello All,
New to forum and not sure if this is the correct place to post this thread. I have an issue regarding using the MAG STB on Samsung 8000 series tv with the intermediate HDMI connector box. Had success with adding my TV cable and Apple TV box, but with the MAG STB I can get video but no audio. Tried out on older TV with HDMI connects direct to back of TV and all works fine. Very frustrating. Any solutions would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Originally I was going to use powerline hardware to connect my PC with my Samsung Smart TV but I understand there are issues with playing 1080P movies. So I decided to go with CAT6 cables. Can I use a CAT6 cable with the NETGEAR XAVB5004 instead of using the existing electrical wiring in my home?

I would like to network my DP-P2 with my PC and Samsung LED Smart TV. I was thinking of a wired system via a crossed ethernet or CAT6 cable from my PC to the DP-P2 and TV. Do I need a network router and if so can you recommend a brand Netgear?. As I really dont have a clue could someone please give me a step by step guide on how and what to do to set this all up?

Have just bought the TV and replaced an older Samsung tv. The. DP-P2 works fine and will switch programmes ok. However when i want to record a programme . the DP-P2 programme guide shows ..no information available... the tv guide shows all the programmes ok.
How to change the settings to recognise the tv guide listing is my problem

Hi Fitztorious
I'm actually with a semi-bricked bios on my np700z7c-s01ub
I'm very curious about your process in how to go back to a normal BIOS state.
Can you confirm that you could do a win7 legacy bios install and everything is working fine as Dannemand said?
Many thanks

The TV shows full details of all programmes for the day. Beyonwiz shows the normal screen but after a pause instead of times etc being visable... No data available... shows against each channel.
I can record and pause the live programme OK.
during the TV settup beyonwiz is not included in the equipment list and i could not find any way to make a manual input
