Hello
I have 2 DM800 clones which have a Fan installed.
Both Fan's got very noisy in the meantime.
Am i ok to remove them? Or will the Box overheat?
The original ones do also not have a Fan.
Thank you

Hi
Don't remove it or if you want to remove it because of the noise , I suggest you to replace it with another fan making less noise.
Your box will be overheated without the fan.
I also suggest you what I made to my box...
I bought a 120cm fan which I putted over the box, from outside, and I powered it from an external adaptor but not with 12V but only 9V.
The fan is working in silent mode, non stop in very low rpm, without any noise. If You Like My Post..... Please Press the Thanks Button

hmmmm ok... because a friend removed it also.. and it's working fine since half a year now... i'll give it a try.. because the noise is annoying... and also a fan over or under the box looks not really nice... ;-)

For me best solution was to use on Laptop cooler with big diameter and low speed so you can put the receiver over and put the usb cable on dream usb so when start dream.cooler start .

Hi
I'm happy for you
Just remember that the summer is coming and the temperature will be much higher...
I would like to suggest you the followings:
-Do not cover your box with other devices
-Do not place your box in a closed tv furniture.
I wish you to have a healthy receiverIf You Like My Post..... Please Press the Thanks Button
