Rainbow Splashscreen for VU+

To the start screen to flash (the very first boot logo) (splash_cfe_auto.bin), proceed as follows:

- Formatting a USB stick with FAT32 and create the following folder structure / vuplus/duo2 / or / vuplus/solo2 / (with the older models is different)

- Attention: to show upper or lower case in the eighth case, spaces, etc. the folder must be named exactly the same, otherwise it does not work

- Box shutdown, turn off the back, remove all USB flash drives, insert the flash drive you just created and used as the image, flash (goes very quick, is only one file)

I always using 3D models and a locator for my TMU skins online and it is working great.
Today i downloaded a 2D skin and the files in the zip are 100 the same as in the 3D model zip.
What is the direference between 2D skins and 3D models and yes a did read the carpark faq but still i dont understand it
What is best to use in TMU for a custom car, 2D skins or 3D models ?
